Sunstone is a plagioclase feldspar, which when viewed from certain directions exhibits a spangled appearance. It has been found in Southern Norway, Sweden, various United States localities and on some beaches along the midcoast of South Australia.
"Based in the selfsame location where launched her debut art collection in 2020, The Trade Show draws on the centuries-old tradition of artists supporting each other through mutually beneficial barter," said the designer.
She employs her formal knowledge of art to experiment with the material and sculptural elements of furniture.
